Beginning the Adams at 06:25 features a striking sample that could have just as easily been used by Ye himself: "a late-night AM radio talk show in which an abusive host argued about God with a patient man who eventually identified himself as a preacher." (J. Adams New Yorker August 18 2008)

Beginning the Adams at the start of the movement features no voice sampling and creates a meditative tapestry that West's ostinatos dance around, interacting with each new Adams harmony in a new and tender way.
